The tranquil winter journey on our narrow-gauge railroad into the hopefully snow-covered Eifel begins at 11:15 am. After around 1.5 hours, you will reach the terminus in Engeln at an altitude of 459 meters - the train will have covered around 400 meters in altitude from the Rhine to the Eifel heights!

On the Eifel heights, you have the opportunity to take part in a guided hike and enjoy refreshments in the Brohl valley restaurants along the way. After the hike, the comfortably heated carriages await you for the return journey to Brohl. Arrival in Brohl is at 16:40.

Ticket prices

Adults 17.50 euros, children from 6 to 15 years 8.75 euros.

10 Jahre Premiumwanderweg EIFELLEITER

In 2015, the premium hiking trail Eifelleiter was ceremoniously opened, and in 2025, the 10th anniversary will be celebrated appropriately. The partners Bad Breisig, Brohltal, and Adenau invite hiking enthusiasts and families to the big anniversary celebration on May 25 2025 around the Spessart multifunctional hall. In addition to a guided gourmet hike, a guided hike on the Engeln circular trail, and a family hike, a colorful program for young and old around the Eifelleiter and the topic of hiking will be offered.
