Experience nature as a source of strength - Immerse yourself in the green of the forest
Forest bathing is a mindful stroll through nature. Pause in beautiful places, listen, marvel and consciously perceive the wind and the scent. Switch off from everyday life, let the soothing forest atmosphere take effect and arrive completely in the here and now.
The healthy forest atmosphere contributes to relaxation, reduces stress hormones, strengthens the immune system and regulates blood pressure. Conscious time spent in the forest has a decelerating and health-promoting effect on body, mind and soul, as has already been proven in many studies. We smell, feel, see and taste intensively and leave the often hectic everyday life behind us. By slowing down in nature, we draw new strength and joie de vivre.
Breathing, meditation and sensory exercises are part of the forest bath, as is solo time (self-experience), e.g. admiring the canopy of leaves in a hammock between two trees and letting your mind wander.
A shared forest picnic with tea, fruit and cookies, crackers and dip rounds off the soothing nature experience. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and food.
Everyone - regardless of age - is welcome. Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended.

The participation fee is 38 euros for adults.

Detailed information about the meeting point etc. will be sent after registration to Gabriele Arzdorf, nature therapist/course leader for forest bathing, gabriele.arzdorf@gmx.de, 02642-7329.
