Konzert mit The Journeymen feat. Gerd Querbach

May 17, 2025

Burgbrohl

The band, known for their authentic mix of blues, rock and soul, inspires with expressive interpretations and handmade live music. They are supported on this evening by Gerd Querbach, an accomplished musician who captivates the audience with his expressive voice and virtuoso playing.
It all began in the summer of 1995: Five musicians from Lahnstein and the surrounding area formed a band dedicated entirely to blues and blues rock. The new band quickly made a name for itself. With songs by Cream, Eric Clapton and other blues rock artists, they played numerous gigs in the region and beyond. Lahneck live, the SWR Stadtfest in Kirn, the Brunnenfest in Bad Ems or at the Kulturnacht in Andernach, they always delighted a steadily growing audience. In almost 30 years on stage, there have always been changes in the band line-up. The following musicians are currently on stage: Gerd Querbach (vocals), Kerstin Wittenius (vocals), Andreas Alten (keyboards), Martin Eder (bass), Roland Harnischmacher (drums), Ulle Wollf (guitar).
The concert promises an atmospheric journey through various styles - from classic blues numbers to rock sounds and soulful ballads. The special acoustics of the Propstei Buchholz provide an extraordinary sound experience.
