Mendig

Expertise meets craftsmanship. A very clever man (craftsman Peters) once said: "Home is like having wet your pants - everyone sees it, but you alone feel the warmth! So you have to convey it to the others." Or to say it with an even wiser man (yes, it's Handwerker Peters again):

Where green landscapes pour out and the maars sprout from the earth, you see a lot of countryside and potato fields - and the farmer races over them with his tractor.
He's not harvesting potatoes, he's not spreading manure, he's on the run from the tax investigation.
In the barn, the cow crashes to the ceiling because the milking machine has a short.
There, the rooster is really crazy when he chases the geese in the yard. Where do you feel comfortable and nothing hurts anymore? That's right - in the Laacher See volcanic region!

Any bets? Then get on board...

RheinVokal-Konzert mit Capella Lacensis
Apr 13, 2025

The Maria Laach Abbey Church celebrates the successful completion of its organ renovation in the most magnificent way imaginable: Father Philipp Meyer OSB, conducts the Cappella Lacensis in French Romantic organ masses in dialogue with both organs. At the premiere of the Widor mass in 1878 in the Saint-Sulpice church in Paris, 240 voices were heard in the double choir. The RheinVokal concert as part of the Laach Festival Week does not quite reach this number of voices, but nevertheless unfolds the same splendour of sound, including in Vierne's wonderful organ mass from 1906.
