Plaidt

The circular trail leads through the idyllic "Nettepark" in Plaidt. The village is located in the Eastern Eifel, one of the youngest volcanic regions in the world, in the triangle between the Rhine, Moselle and the Laacher See nature reserve. The landscape is characterized by stream valleys, old mills, remnants of the Roman culture and extinct cinder cones.

The start and finish of the short circular route is the parking lot at the Ententeich (road: Im Rang). The short loop with a slight incline offers plenty to see! It leads along the Nette past a small pond that invites you to linger, the remains of the old "Noldensmühle" paper mill and artistic sculptures made of wood and stone as well as a small spring. The "Café am Park" provides a cozy end to the walk.

The "Nettepark circular trail" meets the quality criteria of the "Accessibility tested - barrier-free for people with walking disabilities and partially barrier-free for wheelchair users" label.
