The traditional Hotel Felsenkeller is nestled in the beautiful Mendig landscape: founded in 1876 - expanded several times - and modernized again and again.
Today, a 3-star superior hotel with 20 cosy rooms / 30 beds awaits you. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, TV and free WLAN.

Mendig is known for its centuries-old mining of basalt lava for the production of millstones and the resulting huge underground rock cellars, which attracted breweries during the 19th century to cool the coveted barley juice, as well as the Laacher See, a dormant but still active volcano with the Benedictine abbey of Maria Laach, which is only a few minutes away.
