Beller Jäss
Bell
Behind the parish hall you can find the fountain with a jumping goat made of sheet bronze on a lava stone.
This goat is the "Beller Jääß" (Beller goat). Over the years, the goat established itself as a kind of symbol for Bell, since the goat (as a substitute for the more expensive cows) was one of the most common domestic and breeding animals in the community, of which many mentions were made in various places until after the end of World War II Witness anecdotes of the village.
In the course of time, the citizens of the surrounding villages were called "Beller Jäässer", because it was not uncommon in the region to give the citizens of the neighboring villages nicknames.
